Study on Macroregional Strategies and their Links with Cohesion Policy

Description: The European Commission, Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy intends to undertake a study on macroregional strategies supported by European funds during the period 2007-2013 in countries (EU and non-EU) that have requested to participate in one or several of these macroregional strategies.
The main purpose of this study is to explore the performance of the four existing macroregional strategies, and in particular the two oldest, namely the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) and the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).
