Multiannual Cross-Border Research & Monitoring Program for Hohe Tauern National Park

Description: The assignment entailed expert support in developing and structuring the multiannual, cross-border research and monitoring program for the Hohe Tauern National Park.

It focused on preparing and conducting a comprehensive process to elaborate the mission, vision, objectives, thematic research fields, indicators, and resources, through a sequence of workshops with the park’s research working group.

These activities covered refining intervention logic, defining measures, designing evaluation and monitoring systems, and developing processes for project planning and implementation. The outputs comprise a full research and monitoring program proposal with an indicator system, resource plan, and implementation process documentation, to be presented to the park council in mid and late 2025.
