Description: The aim of the assignment was to assess the expression of interests by Polish and Czech cities applying for the Climate-neutral and Smart Cities Mission. EU Missions are a novelty of the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Framework Programme for the years 2021-2027, meant to deliver impact by putting research and innovation into a new role, combined with new forms of governance and collaboration, as well as by engaging citizens. The call for EOI was officially launched on 25 November 2021 in the form of a questionnaire. The EOI questionnaire was designed to identify, with a reasonable level of confidence, those cities that are ready enough to move to the next phase of the Mission.
